We are doing weekly visits to the Hub incorporating different activities such as sensory, singing, music and movement sessions and arts and crafts. This stimulates both the residents and the children’s development, not only physically but mentally. It has been proven that the older generation in care homes find it extremely beneficial and this helps to stimulate and boost morale of the residents and engages the children within the community.
This week at the hub we explored water paintings! With water a picture appears, when it dries it disappears, just like magic! We also sang lots of our favourite songs including wheels on the bus which the residents really joined in with today! We are really enjoying making our regular visits to the hub and even making new friendships
