Ashfield Nursery Gateshead and South Shields

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of nursery care for the children entrusted to us in a safe, secure and comfortable environment. In our nurseries and early learning centres we strive to maintain the important balance of entertainment, fun and play whilst stimulating the children and attending to the PIES :

Within our group we have three nurseries, one in Low Fell, Gateshead and two in South Shields. The Ashfield Court Nursery in South Shields sits in the grounds of South Tyneside District Hospital, where we work in partnership with the South Tyneside Healthcare Trust. Significant features of our nursery and early learning centres are :

• All staff are approved and police screened by an organisation using the Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure service.
• All staff are fully qualified or in training
• Baby care available from 6 weeks of age
• Dedicated baby unit at our Gateshead Nursery
• Pre-school education for 3 – 5 year olds
• Open 5 days per week:

• South Shields: 7.00am – 6.00pm
• Low Fell: 7.30am – 6.00pm

• Collection and drop off arrangements
• Dedicated keyworker for each child
• Special needs co-ordinators
• Security controlled access
• Internal and external CCTV monitoring
